The Society of Infectious Diseases (Singapore) (SIDS) was founded in 1990 to promote the practice, education, training and prevention of infectious diseases. Its members comprise infectious disease, microbiology and preventive medicine doctors, and infectious disease nurses, pharmacists and researchers, and students in these disciplines.

SIDS organise regular continuing education events in infectious diseases and collaborate with international societies to organise international conferences.
