Background

Asia Pacific Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infection (APSCMI) is committed to promoting high quality education in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. In late 2021, we signed an agreement with bioMérieux, a major company in the field of infectious diseases diagnostics, to develop an E-Learning course on “Microbiology in Clinical Practice”.

A team of Clinical Microbiologists nominated by APSCMI together with a team of medical affairs staff from bioMérieux have worked for the last two years to develop six E-Learning modules, which address various clinical aspects of microbiology in improving patient management decisions in modern clinical settings.

We are now pleased to announce that the course development is complete and we launched the E-Learning course officially on 27th November 2023 with a small ceremony in person in Singapore and online. Thank you to all speakers and participants who attended from all over the world.
